Charming 30 James Street Wedding for Rebecca and Rachel
Saturday 18th September 2021
As the sun rose on the grand 30 James street building on Saturday morning, 2 relaxing & exciting bridal preps were taking place for brides Rebecca & Rachel who were next door to each other on the 5th floor surrounded by their nearest & dearest.
The ceremony room was being beautifully set up by Pollen & Twine ( and I must say their stunning creations made the whole place not only look, but also smell amazing as well) the room was dressed so tastefully and the flower arch made the perfect focal point for the bides to reunite for their ceremony.
With Rebecca & Rachel finally in their dresses, they made their way down to the ground floor separately, ready for their bridal entrances.... so many emotions !!
Rachel tried to hold back the tears as she stood at the top of the aisle and set eyes on her gorgeous bride Rebecca. Rings & vows exchanged, the new Mrs & Mrs Anders were announced to their family and friends.
The bridal party gathered for a colourful confetti moment on the grand steps of the hotel’s entrance and then headed to the roof terrace for cocktail hour.
Seated for their wedding breakfast a little surprise awaited the newlyweds and their guests ( courtesy of Rebecca’s mum) in the form of 2 very entertaining singing waiters. Its safe to say they were an absolute hit. Everyone got on their feet to sing and dance away the afternoon.
After digesting dessert and the entertainment, some very emotional speeches followed.
Rebecca spoke first with some very moving words for Rachel and thanked everyone for being there on what was their best day ever !
Rachel’s best man Chris delighted the crowd with his cracking speech and then last but not least a very emotional father of the bride – Rebecca's Dad had everyone laughing and crying, topping it off with a beautiful slideshow of photos accompanied by a lovely song for the couple.
Celebrations continued in to the evening after cutting their stunning wedding cake, both brides took to the floor to dance with their Dads which then followed the Newlyweds first dance as Wife & Wife.
It was an absolute joy & pleasure to have captured this very special day for this amazing couple.
Congratulations again to the new Mrs & Mrs Anders
