Thursday 23rd September2021

Such a beautiful day against the gorgeous city backdrop for this wonderful couple & their family & friends.

Steph was pampered during her relaxing bridal prep which took place in the beautiful 30 James Street Hotel surrounded by her bridesmaid, flower girl & sister in law.

As the girls finished getting ready Steph’s dad entered to see his beautiful daughter, he was definitely trying to hold back the tears in this special moment for them both.

The bridal party made their way round to the historic Liverpool Town Hall where groom Matthew and all their guests awaited Steph’s entrance.

Rings & Vows exchanged accompanied by a lovely reading by Matthew’s Grandma the couple were now Mr & Mrs Potter- YAY !

Group shots & Confetti took place at the lovely town hall and the whole wedding party took a short walk down water street entering the iconic OH ME OH MY for the wedding reception.

Guests refreshed themselves with champers, beer & canapés and then took to their seats for the speeches.

Father of the bride was up first giving an emotional speech and some pearls of wisdom to the newlyweds also mentioning how proud he was of his daughter.

Next up was son Harry ….well lets just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house after his speech. He thanked his Mum for making him the happiest boy in the world and for everything she did for him and that Matthew made their family complete and thanked him for how happy he makes his Mum.

Groom Matthew had a tough one to follow…but was blown away by Harry’s speech and said he was so happy to have the privilege of being his step dad, he thanked everyone for being there on his & Steph’s special day and was so happy to have finally tied the knot.

Matt’s best Man said it was an honour to be chosen for the role and special responsibility as best man and that he was over the moon for the newlyweds on their special day.

It was time for guests to tuck in to their afternoon tea and move on to the evening celebrations.

Gathering on the terrace for early evening cocktails and to soak up the dazzling lights of the Liverpool skyline, it wasn’t long until everyone gathered back in to the main building for cake cutting, first dance as Mr & Mrs, and to celebrate the night away ( …and may I just say please check out the cake in the pictures below - a literal cake of cheese - WOW, along with a work of art grazing platter created by The Little Green Platter Company )

Congratulations again to the new Mr & Mrs Potter
