GEM & ROB -15.jpg

Talk about a smashing wedding day, I had so much fun capturing Gemma & Rob’s wedding celebrations.

Bridal prep was in full swing as I arrived at Gemma’s Mum & Dad’s house. Breakfast, bucks fizz and a beautiful bridal party awaited the day ahead.

Arriving at St Georges Church to their family & friends it was safe to say they were all very happy to see them finally tie the knot. Rob stood at the top of the aisle waiting for his blushing bride Gemma ready to become Mr & Mrs.

After a lovely service, Hymns & Prayers  the new Mr & Mrs Murphy were announced to the congregation .

Outside confetti showered over the newlyweds & congratulations were shared between all.

Guests then made their way to the stunning Shrigley hall for the wedding reception. Drinks and canapés were served on the outside terrace to guests enjoying the celebrations and the sun shine ( not to mention overlooking the spa pool that we all wished we could jump into on this glorious day )

After a leisurely stroll around the grounds and lake for couple portraits, the wedding party greeted every single one of their guests during their receiving line & sat down ready for the formalities.

Emotional speeches were given by a very proud father of the bride Dave who beamed with happiness on his daughters special day. Groom Rob then gave a tonne of thanks for everyone joining them on this very special day and was so  happy to finally be able to call Gemma his wife.

Best Man & Chief Bridesmaid shared beautiful sentiments and ever so kind words about their dear friends

In to the evening festivities- the bar lounge was transformed in to a Las Vegas casino, decked out with black jack & roulette tables for guests to enjoy.

Gemma & Rob took to the dance floor to cut the cake as a family and then they got the party started with the first dance. Shortly followed by a beautiful and emotional first dance for Gemma and her Dad alongside Rob and his Mum, Such a touching moment.

A million congratulations once again to the new Mr & Mrs Murphy, I loved capturing your special memories.

( P.S a fire engine may have made an appearance at the venue)
